Very professional delivery in excellent time and with short notice, plus a remote handover. My yacht returned to Chichester just as I had left her in France, and was cleaned and tidied before the crew left. I would have no hesitation in recommending Halcyon Yachts, both the crew and the support team at base.
This year I planned at least two months cruising in South Norway and the East Coast of Sweden with family and friends. Due to work pressures, I could not do the positioning of the boat in either direction. Halcyon however provided the solution. This was carried out in both directions with little fuss and appropriate care and attention. I would be happy to recommend Halcyon to any owner.
We used Halcyon to deliver our catamaran from Lefkas Greece to our base in Jersey. We agreed our delivery contract and arranged for access to our boat for the team. Halcyon supplied the CV of the very experienced skipper and this was accepted by our insurance company. The team then arrived on the dates agreed at the yacht and proceeded to get her ready for delivery. Obviously there were a few questions but things were sorted out very quickly over a WhatsApp group set up for the delivery. Our boat was quite old and although we had tried to ensure everything was ready some things were undertaken by the yard in Greece without us being able to check. Sadly the fuel tank cleaning was obviously not done to a good enough standard and really caused a number of engine failures on the trip. The team on board managed this issue and sorted it out during the trip eventually arranging for a new tank clean to be undertaken. We were able to follow the trip on Marine traffic and had reports on WhatsApp. I was very impressed with the fortitude of the team on board dealing with any issues and the delivery was completed within the timescales agreed but with a slight allowance for the weather which will always be the case with a long-distance delivery. I would not hesitate to use Halcyon again.

Following an incapacitating accident that prohibited sailing our boat home from La Trinite-sur-Mer to Falmouth, Halcyon were recommended to us as a delivery company. Notwithstanding the unfortunate circumstances, the entire process with Halcyon was excellent from the first quote to the final handover. We recently contracted Halcyon Yachts to deliver our Beneteau 40 from Northern Ireland to Cornwall. The skipper was a very experienced Yachtmaster who took good decisions along the route as conditions changed and kept us well-informed at all times. The passage was completed flawlessly and the boat delivered slightly ahead of schedule, not only in perfect condition but probably cleaner than when they set out.

I needed to get my recently purchased yacht from Ipswich to Gosport and had a crew ready to help me. Due to the weather changing had to push the dates and lost my crew. Contacted Halcyon and they happily arranged to have crew available for the trip. The trip had its moments and problems were sorted methodically and logically which enabled us to press on and complete each leg of the trip on time. I thought Halcyon's crew's knowledge and experience was the key factor in the trip being able to proceed. We experienced some not-so-kind weather and a bitter cold wind and the only people out in early March. The crew were excellent and I would recommend them to others without hesitation. If I needed help again Halcyon would be my first number to dial.
