We recently contracted Halcyon Yachts to deliver our Beneteau 40 from Northern Ireland to Cornwall.
We looked at quite a few companies, but Halcyon immediately stood out from the rest in terms of their professional approach to planning the passage, selecting the crew and setting up contracts. Their responses to our questions were prompt and well-considered, and their fee was very competitive
There is clearly a significant backup organisation behind each delivery, which gave us peace of mind.
The crew were exceptional. Great sailors, but also people that clearly cared about our boat.
The skipper was a very experienced Yachtmaster who took good decisions along the route as conditions changed and kept us well-informed at all times.
The passage was completed flawlessly and the boat delivered slightly ahead of schedule, not only in perfect condition but probably cleaner than when they set out.
