The snow has melted, the days are getting longer and there is a sense that Spring is finally upon us. At Halcyon Yachts, this is always our busiest time. We are helping more and more people with yacht deliveries ahead of the coming season. The number of bookings we have received is significantly up compared to last years figures and it is clear that 2018 is set to be a very busy season indeed.

We now have more than a dozen yachts booked to be delivered over the Easter Holiday weekend, with owners very keen to get their boats and start their own sailing adventures. We have several yachts heading across the Atlantic and more yacht manufacturers and brokers using our services than ever before.

Highlights of the year so far include the owner assisted delivery of a brand new Lagoon 420. It was a delivery straight out of the factory at Les Sables D’Olonne to Lisbon. The owner was given some expert on-board sailing tuition by one of our Senior Skippers during the delivery. He was able to get to know his yacht and its systems before arriving to meet his family in Lisbon. He is now a qualified RYA Coastal Skipper and will be continuing on an adventure of a lifetime into the Med and beyond.

We have delivered other new yachts recently for companies including Hallberg Rassy, Rustler, Hanse, Moody, Najad, Grand Soleil, Lagoon and Bavaria. Our most popular destinations include Greece, Croatia, Spain, Sweden, Caribbean and the USA. This year we have also taken our first ever booking for the yacht delivery of a Hallberg Rassy to the Faroe Islands.
